And now that I think of it… the time one spends messing with lil green patch’s plants, uses more power/carbon producing pollutants than is saved by a penny donated here and there. So in that sense, Lil Green Patch is *hurting* the rainforest.

Contribute $2 at this site, and save 1740 sq. ft. of rainforest. Given that the lil green patch gives about a nickle each year for each user, I hope folks don’t use this app as a substitute for real help for our children’s planet. Think about it – 2$ = 1740 sq. ft.

A fantastic application! I love combining two of my favorite things: facebook and making a difference in the world. I’m proud of my 133 sq ft (and growing!) of saved rain forest. Good job, guys.
